NH News and Happenings
2007 BOW Events - This past September was the 13th annual weekend workshop held at the Rockywold-Deephaven Camps on Squam Lake. This was by far the most enthusiastic group of participants and gave all the volunteers a real boost. Approximately 130 women participated in their choice of four classes taught by volunteer instructors. These were selected from 10 to 12 choices during each of four sections and varied in interest to include gun safety, hunting, archery, map and compass, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, wildlife identification, nature photography, outdoor skills and survival and outdoor cooking. In February there was a one-day Winter Workshop for 50 women to experience showshoeing, winter survival, ice fishing, and shooting among other varied options. On September 28-30 a Beyond BOW Fly Fishing Weekend was held at Purity Spring Resort in Madison, NH.
