Also from Stoeger Publishing Co. comes this latest book in their series of “ Wild About” outdoor cookbooks. Wild About Seafood is book #5 in the series and the previous “Wild About” books reviewed in past Outdoor Bookworm columns were Wild About Venison, Game Birds, Freshwater Fish and Waterfowl.
This latest Wild About Seafood is a seafood lovers recipe book with over 50 new recipes to excite the appetite of the seafood lovers.
The book, like the others in the series, is highly illustrated with color photographs of the finished product and a corresponding page that has a detailed list of the ingredients and the method of preparation.
I have made plans to try Lobster with Herbed Oil and a mackerel dish called Fresh Mackerel with Green Apple Chutney along with Mussel and Grilled Pepper Salad. I have only one problem with cooking seafood in my home. My wife is a confirmed seafood hater and leaves home whenever I just mention cooking seafood.
If you have enjoyed other books in the “Wild About” series I know you will find this one a keeper also. It is a hard-covered book having 130 well illustrated pages printed on fine glossy paper.
