About Us

The New Hampshire Wildlife Federation is a Conservation and Stewardship Organization. We are a non-profit member organization promoting conservation, sportsmanship, and outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and trapping. Though our primary focus is on issues specific to New Hampshire, we are actively involved in programs that have international relevance.

The following video is an introduction to our organization, and an example of the positive impact our members have on the New Hampshire community.

Our Mission

The mission of the New Hampshire Wildlife Federation is the preservation and protection of hunting, fishing, and trapping and the conservation of and access to fish and wildlife habitat and resources.

Our Pledge

As members of the New Hampshire Wildlife Federation, we pledge to do the following:

  • To assume our share of the stewardship of our natural resources.
  • To use our share with gratitude, without greed or waste.
  • To respect the rights of others and abide by the law.
  • To support the sound management of the resources we use, the restoration of the resources we have despoiled, and the safe-keeping of significant resources for posterity.
  • To never forget that life and beauty, wealth and progress, depend on how wisely we use these gifts... the soil, the water, the air, the minerals, the plant life, and the wildlife.
