THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THE ROD BUILDING CLASS. IT IS NOW FULL AND WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS.
NH Fish & Game and the NH Wildlife Federation are co-sponsoring a fly rod building workshop on Saturday March 2, 2019. This is a unique opportunity to learn all the aspects of building a fly rod.
The class is 4-5 hours and will consist of the following:

Assemble and glue on the reel seat
Discussion and application of guide placement, and splining blanks

At the end of the day each student will have a completed seat and grip as well as the marking for the guide placement. Students will take home a rod wrapping bench (included in the class fee) allowing you to complete the build by wrapping on the guides.
The class includes a rod bench, the blank, grade A cork grip, A16B reel seat, guide set, guide placement chart, thread and a single use package of rod finish.
